"Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates." Deuteronomy 11:18-20

B is for Bumblebee
We cut circles out of card stock and wrapped aluminum foil around them for the top of the antennae. The kids had a blast!

On Your Marks, Get Set, Go!
Okay, so I decided to try something different today, before we started homeschool. The boys can't seem to sit still while we're doing homeschool--they're literally doing back flips off their bunk bed (no, really!). And, we don't exactly have a big backyard--or any for that matter--where they can run while I do housework, etc. So, I decided to have them run laps around our condo building while I emptied the dishwasher and made my daily spinach and carrot smoothies! Ah, multi-tasking at its finest!
First we started off with some simple stretching exercises and jumping jacks. Instead of having them try to beat each other, I used a stopwatch to have them try to beat their own personal time around the building! On your marks, get set, go! They loved it!
Okay, now I if could just figure out how to incorporate exercise for myself while doing housework, it'd be that much better! :)
